ECCEL provides specialized Early Intervention Day Treatment and early childhood services to children (8weeks through 5 years old) with and without special needs.
The curriculum, which correlates with the Arkansas Standards, encourages the development of the whole child. While learning through play the children engage in meaningful activities in the following areas: Gross/Fine Motor skills, Communication. Cognition, Self-help, Socialization, Art, music, math, Play Time.

ECCEL IS A VITAL PART OF SOUTH ARKANSAS DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THAT HAVE SERVED UNION AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES FOR OVER 40 YEARS. ECCEL operates two early childhood sites in Union County for children ages 8 weeks through 5 years old. Our quality early childhood programs are certified by the division of the Arkansas Department of Human Services/Childcare and Early Childhood Education. Each child with a developmental disability receives services consistent with a prescription provided by their primary care physician (PCP). A team of professionals helps in the developmental process of children enrolled in the specialized program.
The team includes: Medical Professionals, Nurse,Physical therapist, Occupational therapist, Speech therapist, Service Coordinators, Certified Teacher, and Direct Care Staff
